Some people leave a larger mark on your life than you ever expect. This fella was a high school teacher of mine for a short time, but his influence lasted decades. Not only was he a great teacher, but he was one of those rare teachers that actually cared for his students and the direction their schooling was heading. And always treated people with the greatest respect. That.....and I'd see him rolling through town on his Harley-Davidson with a smile on his face. 31 years later I was able to sit down with him for a drink and a chin wag a few weeks ago.
