One crucial aspect that enhances their performance is the exhaust system, and in the pursuit of excellence, Staintune have developed an exhaust that truly unleashes the potential of the BMW GS.

Throttle Downunder, a prominent name in the motorcycle industry, has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality information on the internet. With their passion, Staintune wanted to utilise the TDU BMW GS for some research and development on a new exhaust for the popular BMW R1250GS.
The BMW GS has always been highly regarded for its powerful engine and dynamic capabilities. However, Throttle Downunder and Staintune believe that the stock exhaust system can be further improved to unlock even more of its potential. Staintune aim to create an exhaust that not only delivers superior performance but also enhances the overall riding experience.

We took the TDU BMW to Doctor Mak Engines (Owned by superbike champion Jamie Stauffer) to run the dyno to get accurate readings on performance improvements. These figures are confidential right now, but once the final product goes to market I will share all the numbers.
It was an honour for Throttle Downunder to be asked to be involved in a portion of the R&D for this product.
