Nestled in the picturesque countryside of New South Wales, Australia, lies the charming town of Rylstone. While Rylstone may not be on everyone's travel radar, this hidden gem boasts a unique combination of two seemingly unrelated elements: Cars and Motorcycles.
On your next trip out to the Mudgee wine region, I highly recommend taking a slight detour into the town of Rylstone. In fact why not stop there for lunch, both The Globe Hotel and the Rylstone Hotel offer fantasic meals in their beautiful heritage buildings, there is also a number of cafes to satisfy all the hungry people in your travel group.
However for me, most importantly I wanted to visit Tanks & Tail Pipes, an automotive themed retail store that will certainly excite car and motorcycle lovers equally.
Tanks & Tailpipes is described as a Automotive Heaven, with it's regularly changing displays of motorcycles, merchandise and knickknacks.
Not only is the shop unique and special, but the owners are also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable with all things cars and bikes, and even recommendations for the region that you'll be passing through.
From Automotive signage to Tee shirts with your favourite motorcycle brand on it, even a super cool truckers cap with The General Lee and Dukes of Hazzard on it.
In fact I purchased a very cool set of Motorcyle themed cuff links which I will wear for ever more, on those rare occasions where I actually wear a suit haha
So now you have no excuse, on your next road trip over the great divide, be sure to pass through this gorgeous little Town of Rylstone and pop in to visit the good people at Tanks & Tailpipes.
